Snorkelling - Kosi Bay
Kosi Bay Mouth is a unique breeding ground for marine life and one of the best places in the country for snorkelling. Its relatively shallow waters make it incredibly easy to see coral and colourful fish.
The Kosi Bay Mouth snorkelling area is known as the aquarium and is famous for its rich diversity of both tropical and subtropical species of fish.
Kosi Aquarium Snorkelling Adventure
Snorkelling with the 'Dragons' of the famous Kosi Mouth 'Aquarium' with an experienced Marine Guide. On average we see about 40 to 50 different species of fish on this snorkelling adventure including Surgeon fish, Parrot fish, Moray eels, Lion fish, massive shoals of river snapper and lots of different wrasse. Afterwards, we'll page through the Fish id book with a lovely cup of coffee/tea or hot chocolate.

Turtle Tour - Self drive to Bhanga Nek
You drive to Bhanga Nek Beach in your own vehicle.
Directions will be provided.
Please note that the turtle tour duration is between 4 and 5 hours so you will be returning late at night.
Arrangements will be made to meet a local turtle guide at 18h30 for an informative talk before you set off for a walk on the beach in search of the turtles with your guide.
Please note this walk can be tiring for the very old and very young.

Tembe Elephant Park Safari
Tembe is the 3rd largest game reserve in KwaZulu Natal.
The park is 30 012ha and home not only to about 250 Elephant but to a profuse of wildlife including the Big 5.
The Tembe experience will take you to a distant world of Africa as it once was, unspoilt and natural.
It is also a bird watchers paradise with more than 340 species recorded, including the rare Rudd's Apalis, the Rufous bellied night Heron, the Natal nightjar and the Woodward’s Batis.

Bird Walk
The Kosi Bay nature reserve forms part of Isimangaliso Wetland Park and offers bird lovers a paradise.
Among crystal blue water, marshland, Raffia, wild date Palms, coastal dune forests, grasslands, wetlands, Mangrove forests, and Sycamore fig forests provide habitat for approximately 250 species of birds.

It is advisable to book a guided tour to spot birdlife in the area. The Kosi Bay area has myriads of criss-cross sandy tracks to local settlements which makes it difficult to do a self-guided tour.
